TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Rochester, NY, US

Compensation: $119,200 - $158,900 per year

What you will do

  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits for digital radiographic detectors.
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and comprehensive technical design documentation.
  • Perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and hardware validation.
  • Collaborate with firmware and software engineers on embedded systems integration.
  • Support manufacturing through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and DFM/DFT feedback.
  • Contribute to system architecture and IP development for next-generation imaging systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
  • Technical lead experience for electrical systems on 3-5 products from concept to production.
  • Expertise in end-to-end circuit board design, including schematic capture and layout.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of embedded microprocessor design (ARM Cores, DDR memory).
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rochester, NY, US

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with NDT products.
  • Proficiency in mixed-signal systems, low-noise design, or sensor electronics.
  • Familiarity with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) for medical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards IEC 60601-2-54 and IEC 60601-2-43.
  • Experience with FPGA design (VHDL/Verilog) or firmware development (C/C++).
