What you will do

• Gather and evaluate injury information from workers and employers via phone to determine injury categories.
• Perform precise data entry of First Report of Injury (FROI) claims from phone, fax, and email.
• Adhere to Florida state contract phone-tree and emergency protocols.
• Route calls to the appropriate Triage Unit members for further handling.
• Verify data for accuracy, including spelling, grammar, and valid SSNs.
• Scan and attach claim documents to the system and assist with clerical duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 7am - 7pm EST).
• At least one year of medical terminology or medical office experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
