TL;DR

Employer Benefits Account Coordinator (InsurTech): Coordinating the onboarding and enrollment of small business customers into health insurance plans with an accent on client communication and carrier reconciliation. Focus on streamlining the annual renewal process, managing customer data in Salesforce, and ensuring a high-satisfaction onboarding experience.

Location: Remote (US). Must be available to work between 7am-6pm CST

Salary: $16 - $17 per hour

What you will do

  • Support the onboarding process of new groups from application through to successful enrollment.
  • Manage annual benefits renewal processes and any coverage or carrier changes for customers.
  • Provide proactive onboarding support and reconcile issues via phone, text, and email.
  • Partner with revenue operations and support teams to ensure a high-satisfaction experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer accounts and interactions in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales roles.
  • Life and Health Insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment.
  • Strong customer empathy and fantastic oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain productive in a high-volume environment.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules between 7am-6pm CST, Monday-Friday.
