TL;DR

Principal People Partner (HR): Strategic advisor to Finance and Legal leadership focusing on shaping people strategy and organizational effectiveness with an accent on executive coaching and organizational design. Focus on driving high-impact initiatives, leadership transitions, and aligning workforce planning with business priorities.

Location: Hybrid (Menlo Park, CA). Must be based in Menlo Park; location flexibility is not available.

Salary: $189,000 – $247,800

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, General Counsel, and other senior executive leaders.
  • Translate G&A business priorities into an integrated people strategy covering org design, workforce planning, and succession.
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives including organizational redesigns, leadership transitions, and talent assessments.
  • Provide high-impact coaching to VP, SVP, and C-level leaders on effectiveness and team dynamics.
  • Analyze data and qualitative insights to assess organizational health and facilitate executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with People Centers of Excellence to implement scalable, high-quality people solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience supporting VP, SVP, and C-level leaders.
  • Proven experience partnering directly with a CFO, General Counsel, or equivalent executive leadership.
  • Strong background supporting Finance, Legal, or G&A organizations within technology environments.
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, leadership coaching, and succession planning.
  • Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA, with in-office attendance required three days per week.
  • Strong financial and data acumen to challenge assumptions and guide business decisions.
