HR Business Partner (AI)

Location: San Mateo, United States; on-site

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Advise Go-To-Market leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations on strategic people and organizational challenges.
• Identify systemic risks and opportunities, using business context and workforce data to prioritize high-impact actions.
• Coach managers and leaders on hiring, expectations, feedback, performance, employee relations, and organizational change.
• Build a GTM-focused new-hire landing and onboarding experience.
• Launch and manage a performance approach designed for quota-carrying and customer-facing teams.
• Partner with Recruiting and People Operations on role scope, leveling, talent density, retention, and employee experience initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful HRBP or People Partner experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success.
• Strong understanding of GTM organizations, including quota structures, pipeline dynamics, ramp curves, commission plans, quota attainment, and SPIFFs.
• Experience partnering with VP-level, frontline, and first-time managers.
• Demonstrated judgment in employee relations, organizational change, and escalation decisions.
• Analytical, first-principles approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coaching managers and new leaders directly and frequently.
