Principal People Partner

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. territories excluded. Remote team members must live and work in the United States and have reliable, high-speed internet.

Base compensation: $150,000–$185,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Translate business strategy into talent strategies aligned with company culture and objectives.
• Advise executive and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, performance, total rewards, and team member experience.
• Lead organizational change initiatives, including leadership transitions, reporting structure changes, and People & Talent programs.
• Guide leaders through transformation with change management and communication plans that support adoption and reduce organizational risk.
• Manage complex team member relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, employment compliance, and policy development.
• Develop performance, engagement, retention, onboarding, and offboarding strategies in partnership with the People team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, related business experience, or equivalent combined experience and education.
• 8+ years in an HR Business Partner or People Partner role, including partnership with multiple executives.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience supporting insurance, claims, customer service, operations, sales, marketing, business development, engineering, product development, or technology functions.
• Proficiency with HRIS and collaboration tools, with Workday, Slack, and Google Suite experience preferred or required as applicable.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, highly dynamic virtual environments.
