TL;DR

Sales Planner (Advertising): Managing commercial inventory and creating strategic advertising proposals to support sales goals with an accent on RFP generation and inventory optimization. Location: Hybrid in New York, United States (Office Monday through Thursday)

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year

What you will do

  • Create a high volume of RFP-specific proposals using internal and external templates.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Marketing to generate compelling custom ad programs.
  • Recommend ad placements and content channels based on specific client campaign objectives.
  • Manage the RFP process from initial proposal generation through to final order entry.
  • Execute budget revisions, including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations.
  • Partner with Ad Ops to execute campaigns and ensure maximum delivery against contracted goals.

Requirements

  • Must be based in New York, United States to comply with the hybrid office schedule.
  • 2-3+ years of professional experience, preferably in media sales planning or buying.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of media math and industry terminology.
  • Familiarity with OMS tools and the CTV ad-buying ecosystem, including programmatic.
