What you will do

  • Monitor and resolve payment incidents involving PSPs, APMs, and reconciliations.
  • Lead incident triage, including categorization, prioritization, and severity assessment.
  • Coordinate end-to-end resolution of issues with Engineering, Product, Support, and Risk teams.
  • Identify recurring trends and root causes to propose actionable operational improvements.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, internal workflows, and incident findings.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external payment partners.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Operations, Support, or Incident Management, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • English: Advanced proficiency (B2–C1 level) required.
  • Basic understanding of payment flows (authorizations, captures, settlements, and reconciliations).
  • Experience using operational tools such as Jira, Slack, or Zendesk.
  • Location: Must be based in Mexico City or Bogotá.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of APIs, logs, or debugging processes.
  • Previous experience with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), payment gateways, or fraud prevention tools.
  • Basic SQL and data analysis skills using Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Experience working within high-growth startup environments.
