Senior Product Manager (SAP)

TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (SAP): Developing and optimizing hirify.global's SAP integration to enable financial data workflows with an accent on connectivity patterns and SAP FI-CO processes. Focus on translating complex SAP data structures into product requirements and ensuring seamless integration across various deployment models.

Location: Hybrid (Los Angeles or San Jose, CA). East Coast US location preferred for coverage overlap with EMEA customers.

What you will do

• Define and drive product functionality for SAP integrations to enable financial workflows.
• Own end-to-end integration design including connectivity patterns, data extraction (ABAP, oData, BTP), and canonical mapping.
• Manage integration strategies across SAP deployment models (On-Premise, Private/Public Cloud, HEC).
• Translate SAP FI-CO process knowledge into technical product requirements and designs.
• Partner with Engineering as the primary authority on SAP data structures and configuration dependencies.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to define and deliver the SAP value story to customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP FI-CO environments supporting financial close activities.
• Deep understanding of general ledger, AP/AR, asset accounting, and period-end close cycles.
• Hands-on familiarity with ABAP, oData services, and SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of various SAP deployment models and their impact on data availability.
• Ability to communicate technical integration architecture to engineers and business value to customers.
• Must be based in the USA (Hybrid in CA, East Coast preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with financial close software such as BlackLine or hirify.global.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration patterns versus ECC6.
• Product management experience within a B2B SaaS company.
