What you will do

• Prepare specific accounting areas and related footnotes for Forms 10-Q and Forms 10-K, including share-based compensation and pension plans.
• Conduct accounting research on ad hoc technical accounting projects.
• Support documentation for external audit and review procedures.
• Develop and maintain the company's Financial Policies & Procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Provide U.S. GAAP accounting guidance to subsidiary and corporate personnel.
• Perform quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley controls and certification processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field; CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Ability to analyze financial performance and provide valid explanations for variances.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Must be based in New York, NY, US.

• Knowledge of Workiva and Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close software.
