Wireless Technical Support Engineer (Networking)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an hirify.global office. U.S. citizenship is required for services in a FedRAMP High compliant environment.

What you will do

• Triage and resolve customer support escalations across multiple inbound channels.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug networking systems, software, and solutions.
• Build and maintain Layer 2/3 network testbeds and reproduce customer issues.
• Analyze logs, identify root causes, and file tickets for software and product bugs.
• Work with developers to drive technical solutions and communicate project status.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, preferably with a focus on networking.
• Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and 802.11 Wi-Fi standards.
• Experience using engineering design tools, software packages, testing methodologies, and analytical approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Mastery of English and the local language; U.S. citizenship required.
