NOC Specialist (Cisco ISE)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid); participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation is required.

What you will do

• Monitor network, systems, and services for performance issues, outages, and security concerns in real time.
• Analyze alerts, troubleshoot incidents and service disruptions, and escalate issues to senior engineers or other teams.
• Use diagnostic tools and established processes to investigate and resolve operational problems.
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure engineers on proactive monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.
• Support customers during investigations, provide timely updates, and maintain accurate incident documentation.
• Contribute to operational processes, policies, standards, and service-quality improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Secure Network Analytics (SNA) is required, including operational reviews, event and alert troubleshooting, service performance and availability monitoring, portal management, device profile monitoring, and patch management.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience with network or system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• General network experience with technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet, along with incident response and troubleshooting expertise.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Toronto role, including non-traditional hours and a 24x7 on-call rotation.
