Product Support Engineer III

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; in-office role with occasional travel. The position may involve working in an office or hybrid environment.

What you will do

• Lead technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes.
• Manage product installation, testing, validation, demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and defects and implement corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and provide technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in product support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Expertise in product installation and testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers.
• Strong communication and customer interface skills.
• Thorough understanding of system-level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, operate computer equipment, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with prototype or concept product development.
• In-depth knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry standards and practices.
• Technical certifications such as Six Sigma or PMP.
• Working knowledge of military unit operations and logistics.
• Familiarity with integrating traditional communications systems and sensors.
• Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with RF, vehicle installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry, government, or the U.S. Military.
• Leadership experience in a military or civilian organization.
