Scrum Master (Remote Opportunity)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; listed location is Atlanta, GA.

What you will do

• Lead Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and related Scrum activities.
• Remove blockers and impediments while supporting team productivity, delivery momentum, and continuous improvement.
• Manage backlog flow, prioritization, visibility, accountability, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Coordinate priorities, scope, timelines, and communication across Product Owners, engineers, stakeholders, leadership, partner organizations, and government personnel.
• Promote Agile and SAFe practices and advise government personnel on process standardization, delivery execution, and team efficiency.
• Maintain documentation, meeting outputs, reports, briefings, and readiness for program reviews and milestones.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental United States.
• At least 5 years of experience in Agile project delivery, Scrum leadership, or software development support.
• Strong experience leading Agile development teams supporting automated deployments, scaling, and operational management.
• Experience with large-scale software development, software integration, data management, and complex enterprise or federal environments.
• Expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance; selected candidates must complete fingerprinting and a background check.

Nice to have

• SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification or comparable Agile certification.
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and familiarity with VA tools, processes, and frameworks.
• Technical background supporting engineering-led software development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Healthcare industry experience.
