Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)

Salary: $88,000 – $150,000 (based on geographic location)

What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated communications and digital strategies to advance issue advocacy campaigns across various geographies.
  • Translate campaign priorities into compelling narratives and messaging to engage educators, policymakers, and the public.
  • Maintain strategic oversight of earned, owned, and paid digital media efforts, ensuring rapid response capabilities in fast-moving political environments.
  • Strengthen the organization's brand and member value proposition through storytelling that elevates educator voices.
  • Oversee enterprise digital strategy and paid media investments to grow membership and deepen audience engagement.
  • Directly manage and develop a high-performing team of campaign communications and digital staff.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in communications, digital strategy, and/or political/issue advocacy campaigns.
  • At least 5 years of experience in public education advocacy organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Work authorization for the USA (E-Verify required).
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with staff across the country.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends and evenings for programmatic events.
