Project Manager (Engineering)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Engineering): Managing key site investment projects from concept through to handover for a client in Belgium with an accent on construction site management, budgeting, and contractor coordination. Location: Onsite in Mons, Belgium. Must possess a work permit to work in Belgium.

What you will do

• Act as the owner representative and primary point of contact for subcontractors and consultants during the preconstruction phase.
• Create and establish the Master Project Budget, encompassing soft costs, hard costs, bonds, and contingencies.
• Lead contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, and bid analysis.
• Manage General Contractors and directly contracted vendors on-site during the construction phase.
• Oversee cost and change control processes to ensure project financial stability.
• Manage the project close-out process, including the collection of warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction sites.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• English speaking proficiency.
• Valid work permit to work in Belgium.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French.
• Experience with infrastructure or other complex industrial projects.
