Focus on translating fraud trends into technical requirements, performing risk assessments for new product expansions, and utilizing AI tools to scale fraud prevention processes.

Location: Hybrid in Burnaby/New Westminster, Canada. In-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly.

Salary: $108,000 – $135,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional programs to improve fraud prevention across products, platforms, and geographies.
• Translate fraud trends into technical and product requirements for engineering and analytics teams.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments for new product launches and geographic expansions.
• Drive investigations and root cause analysis to inform system and process improvements.
• Coordinate response and mitigation efforts during fraud incidents or emerging threats.
• Define and track program goals, risks, and success metrics while delivering updates to leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management, ideally within a fraud, trust & safety, or risk context.
• Bachelor's degree or financial crimes related certifications (CFE, CFCS, etc.).
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineers and analysts on product architecture.
• Experience building fraud controls from the ground up for new or changing products.
• Proficiency in SQL and Google Workspace/Excel.
• Must be based in Canada and able to work from the New Westminster office at least 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in payments, fintech, remittances, or money movement.
• Experience utilizing AI solutions to scale impact.
