Technical Consultant (Atlassian and SAFe)

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Jira configurations aligned with SAFe constructs including Portfolio Epics, Features, and Stories.
• Configure issue hierarchies, workflows, screens, and permissions to support scaled agile delivery.
• Develop custom Jira solutions using ScriptRunner (Groovy), Forge, Connect apps, and REST APIs.
• Integrate Jira with enterprise toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
• Create dashboards and reports for flow-based measurement (predictability, throughput, WIP) aligned to SAFe.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshoot complex Jira issues across Cloud and Data Center environments.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience administering and engineering Atlassian Jira (Cloud and Data Center) in large organizations.
• Proven expertise in developing custom solutions with ScriptRunner (Groovy) and Jira REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe concepts (Lean Portfolio Management, ARTs, PIs) and their implementation in Jira.
• Experience with Jira Automation and Advanced Roadmaps.
• Must be located in the UK.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
