Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 per year

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of strategic customers, serving as their primary technical advisor for hirify.global Prime.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for enterprise-scale JVM applications.
• Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, latency, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborate with internal runtime, compiler, and GC engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Design and deliver customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and technical business reviews.
• Channel actionable customer feedback into product and engineering roadmaps.

Requirements

• 12+ years in senior technical roles such as software engineering, SRE, or performance engineering.
• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles like TAM or solutions architect.
• Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals (GC, JIT, threading, memory model).
• Demonstrated experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and containerization.
• Must be based in North America and able to travel occasionally (10–20%).

• Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning and low-latency Java applications.
• Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
