What you will do
- Define and execute the account management strategy, including segmentation, lifecycle motions, and long-term roadmaps.
- Line manage Team Leads and frontline Account Managers, focusing on hiring, coaching, and scaling high-performing teams.
- Build standard operating procedures, playbooks, and forecasting cadences to ensure operational excellence.
- Drive revenue retention, expansion, and churn reduction strategies to maximize merchant lifetime value.
- Partner with local Advertising teams to define go-to-market motions for ads, promotions, and campaigns.
- Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and optimize coverage and productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales leadership.
- 3+ years of proven experience managing managers (Team Leads).
- Track record of scaling teams while improving retention and growth metrics.
- Strong operational and analytical skills with proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Customer-first mindset with a bias for measurable outcomes like NRR and churn.
Nice to have
- Experience in marketplace, logistics, SaaS, or commerce platforms.
- Experience with subscription or recurring revenue business models.
- Experience scaling teams across multiple markets and managing distributed teams.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
