TL;DR

Business Development Manager (SaaS): Driving international growth for an industrial EHS platform with an accent on full-cycle sales, outbound prospecting, and strategic account development. Focus on engaging C-level stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles, and expanding the global footprint in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Location: Hybrid role, requires at least 3 full days per week at the office in Lisbon or Leiria, Portugal.

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets through outbound prospecting.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure.
  • Deliver tailored product presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to senior decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and industrial accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize campaigns and provide market insights.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or SaaS sales.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese required.
  • Proven track record in outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Experience selling complex or technical industrial solutions.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
  • Strong consultative selling and strategic account planning skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, or Automotive sectors.
  • Existing network within industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or other additional languages.
  • Knowledge of Pipedrive or similar CRM platforms.
