What you will do
- Lead the development and execution of global publication plans, including manuscripts, abstracts, and congress presentations.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality scientific content and manage medical writing teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Act as the primary Client and Project Manager for scientific communications projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Contribute to the Global Medical Affairs leadership team to shape solution offerings and drive innovation.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing team of medical writers and publication managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units to deliver integrated Medical Affairs solutions.
Requirements
- Medical or Scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in medical or scientific communications with a focus on publications planning.
- Advanced knowledge of publication guidelines, including GPP, ICMJE, PRISMA, CONSORT, and STROBE.
- Proven track record in manuscript development and managing publication vendors.
- Must be based in Boston, MA, USA.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency with tools like Veeva Systems and reference management software.

- Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) certification.
