Director, Scientific Communications (Medical Affairs): Leading the development and implementation of global Medical Communications Strategy for patients with serious diseases with an accent on scientific platforms and omni-channel delivery. Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)
Salary: $185,000–$252,500 Annual

What you will do
- Co-lead the development of Scientific Platforms, Narrative Lexicons, and Medical Communications plans for the respiratory therapeutic area.
- Execute global medical communication and education plans, including congress strategies and symposia.
- Review scientific materials for content and positioning, representing them during medical, legal, and regulatory reviews.
- Train Medical Affairs teams on new materials and educational activities.
- Manage external vendors and medical agencies for content planning and execution.
- Ensure deliverables align with business strategy and clinical development programs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, primarily in Medical Affairs.
- 5+ years of experience in Medical Communication Strategies, including scientific platform development.
- Expert knowledge of PhRMA guidelines and CME Open Payments reporting.
- Proven ability to interpret and organize complex clinical trial data and statistical analyses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
- Experience in the respiratory therapeutic area.
- Prior pre-launch or launch experience.
