What you will do
- Partner with sales teams to identify and drive net new, expansion, and renewal opportunities.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations and trials to build strong technical partnerships with customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts and executive sponsors to drive advocacy and retention.
- Provide actionable customer feedback to product teams to influence strategy and priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer business issues and achieve mutual goals.
- Develop processes and workflows to build and scale a best-in-class Solutions Engineering organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of customer-facing technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture.
- Proficiency with Operating Systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to operate independently in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to both technical contributors and executive decision-makers.
- Must be based in Tokyo, Japan to support the hybrid working model.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations.
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS.
- Willingness and curiosity to use AI to amplify skills and improve efficiency.
