Lead Network Engineer (Cisco ACI)

What you will do

• Lead solutioning efforts and client presentations for complex network and connectivity projects.
• Plan, implement, and maintain network infrastructure route/switch operating systems and validate system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers in Azure and data centers to develop migration strategies for hybrid environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and perform complex troubleshooting and triage for infrastructure incidents.
• Document system architecture diagrams using Microsoft Visio and maintain security configuration management.
• Evaluate new technologies and mentor staff through coaching and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Hybrid presence in Washington, DC is required.
• 7+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• 5+ years of experience in datacenter virtualization, application load balancing, and campus networking (Cisco ISE, 802.1x, VPN).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and firewall management.
• Knowledge of system hardening (STIGs, SRGs) and federal IT regulatory compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting networks running Cisco UC or MS Teams VoIP systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco VPN and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA.
