What you will do

• Extract and analyze data from data lakes to provide actionable insights for business strategy formulation.
• Develop, maintain, and automate BI and MI reports using SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, and Technology stakeholders to foster a data-led culture and support their data needs.
• Lead the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
• Apply data science methodologies, including statistical modeling and segmentation analysis, to analyze customer behavior.
• Leverage existing AI and machine learning platforms as a power user to enhance analytical productivity.

Requirements

• Strong background in analytics within a commercial or digital product/service context.
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization tools.
• Experience with Google Marketing Cloud (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
• Knowledge of statistical concepts, data modeling, and architecture.
• Experience using AI/ML platforms and tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK for 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in the investment industry and financial markets.
• Proficiency in Python for advanced data analysis.
• Experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
