TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (SaaS): Driving North America sales for the Platform Prime customer base with an accent on new customer acquisition and cross-selling into existing accounts. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, negotiating complex enterprise contracts, and evangelizing technical infrastructure solutions.

Location: Must be based in the US, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Engage with existing customers to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver product demonstrations and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress in Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain a robust 3X sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of direct software sales experience.
  • Proven track record of selling on-premise and cloud-based software to large enterprises.
  • Experience selling into infrastructure spaces such as OS, JVM, or Containers.
  • Demonstrated ability with multi-level selling and deal qualification methodologies like MEDDPICC.
  • Experience working in close partnership with Technical Sales Engineers.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling enterprise products based on Java-based Open Source.
  • Background in verticals such as online retail, e-commerce, ad-tech, gaming, or financial services.
