Senior Designer (Project Architect)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Lead technical execution and delivery across all project phases, from concept through construction administration.
• Coordinate Creative Directors, Design Directors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Manage complex project streams, multiple drawing sets, design-stage schedules, construction schedules, budgets, and procurement methods.
• Develop architectural details and material junctions from concept through execution.
• Lead permitting, code interpretation, pre-construction, contract administration, and construction administration processes.
• Run internal project teams, create work plans, delegate responsibilities, and mentor design staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 12+ years of experience in an architecture or design studio.
• Experience with integrated BIM processes and proficiency in Revit.
• Extensive experience with complex code issues, jurisdictional processes, architectural detailing, consultant coordination, and contract administration.
• Experience with commercial projects, including ground-up construction, core and shell repositioning, and creative workplace projects.
• Strong project leadership, organizational, communication, graphic, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• State licensure or pursuit of state licensure.
• LEED accreditation.
