Architectural Designer II - PreK-12 (Revit)

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; the role supports hirify.global offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, or Los Angeles and follows a hybrid model with regular in-office days and travel to project sites.

Salary: $38.45–$50.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support project teams from early design through construction under the guidance of Project Architects and Project Designers.
• Develop and communicate design intent through technical documentation, Revit workflows, and project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project disciplines using Revizto and participate in project meetings.
• Assist with code, material, and product research, submittal reviews, and technical quality reviews during bidding and construction administration.
• Support project delivery strategies, discipline work plans, staff coordination, and task management in Concept Board.
• Travel to project sites for client, project, construction, observation, investigation, and evaluation meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or a four-year architecture degree.
• At least three years of experience in the architecture/engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM, plus working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with PreK-12 projects and working knowledge of Division of State Architect requirements.
• Familiarity with building codes, interdisciplinary coordination, technical detailing, and project documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Nice to have

• Architecture licensure or active pursuit of licensure.
• LEED accreditation or another sustainability credential.
• Experience with Revizto, Rhino, Bluebeam, or Concept Board.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and delegating work assignments.
• Portfolio or work samples submitted with the application.
