Data Center Solutions Architect (Data Center)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $170,000–$215,000 per year, plus performance bonuses

What you will do

• Drive pre-sales activities from opportunity identification and scoping through booking.
• Build client and prospect relationships while designing, communicating, and advising on data center solutions.
• Support sales engineering, proposal development, SOW creation, presentations, documentation, and whiteboarding.
• Design and manage the lifecycle of standard to complex data center solutions.
• Lead project launches, design activities, proof-of-concept work, and complex projects through completion.
• Support technical teams during workshops, kickoff meetings, project delivery, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Prior client-facing pre-sales experience with data center solutions.
• Experience managing proposal processes, including SOW creation.
• Knowledge of NetApp, Cohesity, Nutanix, Pure, Dell, HPE, Intel, or SuperMicro platforms.
• Understanding of Intel and AMD processor generations, HDD, SSD, NVMe, Optane, backup, virtualization, SAN, and NAS technologies.
• Ability to present technical findings, educate customers and internal teams, and lead complex projects independently.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred; relevant vendor certifications are preferred but not required.
