Salary: $79,000 – $90,000 USD / 110,000 – 125,000 CAD

What you will do

• Assess AI readiness and maturity across non-R&D departments such as Finance, HR, and Sales.
• Partner with department heads to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases within their workflows.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions, including workflow automations, internal bots, and prompt templates.
• Develop and deliver tailored AI training, workshops, and resources for non-technical teams.
• Establish and maintain guidelines for approved AI tools, ethical usage, and data handling.
• Act as the bridge between R&D's AI capabilities and operational business needs.

Requirements

• Background in technology, R&D, or product development with a focus on business enablement.
• Hands-on experience building AI solutions using automation workflows, chatbots, prompt engineering, or low-code/no-code tools.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority.
• Must be based in Canada or the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with change management or organizational transformation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI tooling.
• Experience in the software or utility industry.
