What you will do

  • Design and manage the Annual Internal Control and Risk Management Plan.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including remediation and follow-up actions.
  • Advise business areas on risk-based approaches for new products and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Fintech regulations including CNBV, SAT, Banxico, and AML.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, fraud prevention, and risk awareness.
  • Lead and develop the internal control team to maintain high standards of execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 7+ years of experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, or Risk Management.
  • 2–3+ years of experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.
  • English proficiency (B2-C1 required).
  • Strong knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and Three Lines of Defense models.
  • Experience with ISO standards, SOX, GDPR, and DORA frameworks.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications in Audit, Risk, or Internal Control.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
