What you will do

• Design and optimize ALM models for FX risk and IRRBB, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
• Lead the regulatory capital adequacy planning process (ICAP) and manage counterparty large exposures.
• Implement and automate regulatory reporting (ACLME) in compliance with Mexican regulations and Basel III/IV.
• Enhance internal ALM processes by identifying gaps and integrating financial technology automation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for ALM and provide methodological guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and model accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in bank Treasury, ALM, risk management, or financial modeling.
• Degree in STEM, Economics, or Finance.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, including structure, profitability, and valuation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, VBA) and SQL.
• English: Fluent (C1) required for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Location: Must be based in Mexico or be eligible for relocation.
