What you will do
- Direct and coordinate integrated lab operations from pre-test preparation through execution.
- Serve as the focal point for test sequencing, anomaly response, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Lead collaborative efforts with aircraft system engineers to develop test plans and procedures.
- Utilize lab test equipment and simulation environments to validate system requirements.
- Integrate new capabilities in the labs and verify functionality through design verification tests.
- Support on-aircraft functional testing and troubleshooting, including off-site support in Salinas, CA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in aircraft system integration and test.
- Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
- Technical understanding of test equipment like oscilloscopes, meters, and sensors.
- Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and performing hands-on electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including CAN, A429, and serial/Ethernet interfaces.
Nice to have
- Experience with HIL and real-time simulation environments.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and data processing.
- Experience with fly-by-wire or high-voltage powertrain systems.
- General aviation pilot certificate or equivalent flight experience.
