What you will do

• Own the design, build, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical test stands for development and qualification testing.
• Automate repetitive testing processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Author, execute, and audit comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with design and flight test engineers to improve flight hardware performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers within the hardware test team.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience testing hardware in a regulated environment.
• Professional proficiency in ECAD (Altium) or MCAD (NX) tools.
• Experience with software design and implementation using Python or C/C++.
• Must be a U.S. person or authorized to access export-controlled technology.
• Strong fundamental understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace test planning and execution.
• Prior experience with aerospace qualification standards like MIL-STD-810 or RTCA DO-160.
• History of working on or around aircraft.
• Ability to design data acquisition systems from the ground up.
