What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers while fostering a culture of innovation.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and launch of manufacturing, scheduling, and planning software.
• Collaborate with senior and principal engineers to define optimal technical architectures.
• Present strategic initiatives to VPs and executive leadership.
• Drive operational excellence and optimize development processes to enhance productivity.
• Own critical workstreams on complex, long-term supply-chain technology projects.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of leading software projects from inception to delivery.
• Experience with distributed backend systems and cloud environments like AWS.
• Experience applying AI to solve business and software development problems.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain domains.
• Background in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Familiarity with aerospace compliance and regulatory requirements.
