Location: The position is currently a hybrid of working remote from home and on-site work.

What you will do

• Participate and lead Electrical Systems technical improvements & developments for existing and future airplane programs.
• Prepare/review or approve engineering documents related to electrical system changes on Challenger and Global airplanes.
• Propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimize business airplanes on aspects such as emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems.
• Conduct trade studies associated with new technology introduction and integration on aircraft.
• Manage interfaces with internal & external partners and suppliers for technical aspects.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Have a minimum of 7 years in aircraft electrical system integration or related experience.
• Have deep knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc) and with airworthiness (TCCA, FAA, EASA) Regulations and Advisory Materials pertaining to Electrical.
• Apply strong analytical and systems-thinking skills to structure complex problems and maintain clarity across disciplines.
• Communicate effectively, tailoring technical concepts and project updates to diverse audiences, and clearly articulate status and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
• Have leadership and are motivated to work on multiple projects at the same time.
