What you will do

• Lead the development of electrical and communication interfaces for satellite payloads.
• Manage a small team of direct reports, including onboarding, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Own hardware solutions from architecture through design validation.
• Conduct engineering analysis including reliability, radiation, EMI/EMC, and power budgets.
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, software, and FPGA teams to deliver full product solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, block diagrams, and system architecture reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hardware design experience (schematic and layout).
• Experience leading multi-board system development and electrical interface planning.
• Proficiency with high-speed digital components (FPGAs, SoCs, DAC/ADCs) and memory interfaces (DDR, QSPI, UFS).
• Experience with high-speed routing (JESD204B, 10G Ethernet) and timing stability.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability (high-rel) environments.
• Experience designing hardware for radiation environments.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer.
