What you will do

• Develop and own hardware solutions for space technology using leading-edge practices.
• Lead design reviews for active projects to minimize gaps and mentor junior engineers.
• Support pathfinding for future satellite generations utilizing high-speed interfaces like PCIe 5.0 and 10G+ Ethernet.
• Conduct engineering analysis including radiation, EMI/EMC, FMECA, and power budgets.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation for system architecture and design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RF, mechanical, software, and FPGA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hardware design experience including schematic and layout.
• Experience leading development of multi-board systems and interface planning.
• Proficiency with high-speed digital components and memory interfaces.
• Experience leading projects from architecture through design validation.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment with standard test equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for space, aerospace, or high-reliability environments.
• Knowledge of radiation-hardened design for LEO.
• Experience with Altium Designer.
