Investment Banking Associate (TMT)

Salary: USD 150,000 - 225,000

What you will do

• Develop presentations and reports for TMT clients regarding strategic alternatives, capital markets, and corporate governance.
• Perform comprehensive financial analyses including pro forma merger scenarios, LBOs, and public listings.
• Analyze accounting statements, regulatory filings, and financial projections to provide economic advice.
• Support live deal execution, including due diligence and drafting legal documentation with lawyers.
• Liaise with senior bankers and product experts to address complex financial or market problems.
• Interact directly with client management teams to provide strategic updates and advice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of work experience or an MBA degree with relevant experience.
• Significant investment banking experience, preferably in the TMT sector.
• Proven experience with buy-side/sell-side M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions.
• Expertise in financial modeling and valuation (DCF, LBO, merger modeling, comparable companies).
• Experience in due-diligence and transaction execution processes.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
