Associate, Strategic Finance

What you will do

• Identify, structure, and evaluate financing solutions for infrastructure investments, client contracts, and continued growth.
• Lead financial modeling and analysis across equity, debt, lease, and hybrid capital solutions, including leverage, liquidity, covenant sensitivity, and downside scenarios.
• Research capital markets trends, investor appetite, peer benchmarks, and emerging financing structures.
• Support capital raising and financing transactions, including lender presentations, financing terms, data room management, diligence responses, and documentation coordination.
• Prepare recommendations for investment committee decisions involving financing strategies, M&A, and new investment opportunities.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, energy origination, tax, corporate development, banks, investors, and outside advisors through transaction close and post-close handoff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, project finance, and corporate finance skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with capital markets or investment banking transactions and financing instruments such as credit facilities, term loans, or securitizations.
• Ability to work directly with banks, investors, outside counsel, and consultants while managing multiple transaction priorities.
