Corporate Finance Experienced Associate

Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Southern California, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $75,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver valuation, financial modeling, and transaction-related services for a diverse client base.
• Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, M&A transaction support, and working capital analysis.
• Identify critical valuation issues, research solutions, and execute strategies to resolve them efficiently.
• Review third-party appraisals for audit support and monitor relevant business, economic, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with firm leaders, client executives, and other practices on client delivery and business development.
• Use technology, digital collaboration tools, staff utilization, and project management skills to improve client services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, applied mathematics, or a similar field.
• 2–4 years of business valuation experience in a valuation, consulting, accounting, or investment banking firm.
• Strong understanding of fair value analysis, financial statements, capital markets, and financial valuation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Understanding of derivatives and advanced modeling techniques for life sciences and technology companies is preferred.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in business or finance.
• Progress toward or achievement of CFA, ASA, CPA, or CVA credentials.
• Experience with Crystal Ball and advanced analytical tools.
