TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (SaaS): Generating and qualifying business opportunities through inbound lead engagement and outbound prospecting with an accent on multi-domain and franchise organizations. Focus on high-volume cold outreach, fueling the sales pipeline for the Indirect Sales team, and consultative communication to overcome objections.

Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in Waltham, MA or Fort Collins, CO)

Salary: $22.12 - $23.56 per hour

What you will do

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) via phone, email, and chat to qualify customer fit and business needs.
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (75+ calls per day) to target accounts and dormant customers.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with Account Executives to move qualified leads through the sales funnel.
  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Manage all prospect data and activity logging using Salesforce CRM and sales engagement tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to refine lead scoring and improve pipeline quality.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of SDR/BDR or relevant outbound sales experience in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to generate and qualify leads through cold outreach.
  • Must be able to work hybrid (3 days/week) in Waltham, MA or Fort Collins, CO.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging business owners and marketing teams.
  • Organized and goal-oriented with a track record of hitting activity targets.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, or Groove.
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape and challenges faced by small businesses.
