What you will do

• Provide legal guidance to product, engineering, and go-to-market teams on data privacy, IP, and compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents, IP licenses, and marketing agreements.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, playbooks, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement company policies and compliance initiatives.
• Manage outside counsel for specialized legal expertise and international operations.
• Deliver legal training across the organization on relevant legal topics.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Must be based in the United States.
• At least 8 years of legal experience, including in-house or equivalent client-facing experience.
• Proven experience providing legal advice to SaaS companies.
• Foundational knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, and technology transactions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting international transactions or working with non-US entities.
• Experience counseling on AI matters.
• Familiarity with legal operations tools.
