Salary: $300,000 - $385,000 Annually

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, oversight, and performance management of all contract lobbyists and external government relations firms.
• Build a scalable political compliance framework for federal, state, and local activities, including contributions and registrations.
• Design and execute federal government relations strategies aligned with business priorities and regulatory developments.
• Partner with state strategic owners to align government affairs activity with revenue, funding, and deployment goals.
• Lead the response to political, regulatory, or public-sensitivity issues in partnership with Legal and Communications teams.
• Develop an engagement strategy for key industry associations such as RAGA, DAGA, NCSL, and NLC.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or political campaigns.
• Background in public safety policy or aligned industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing lobbyists and federal-level strategies.
• Strong working knowledge of state legislative, regulatory, and budget processes.
• Based in San Francisco with ability to work onsite 4 days per week.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
