Salary: $149,500 - $275,500

What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, DPA, and BAA contracts.
• Advise on privacy and security clauses, warranties, and indemnification provisions.
• Maintain compliance with evolving state student data privacy laws such as SOPIPA and FERPA.
• Provide legal support for M&A activity, finance, equity administration, and corporate governance.
• Supervise, direct, and develop attorney and non-attorney team members.
• Manage outside counsel relationships, review work product, and maintain budgets.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state.
• Eligibility for Massachusetts In-house Counsel registration.
• 10+ years of experience as in-house Counsel, with emphasis on technology and SaaS.
• 3+ years of experience managing others.
