What you will do

• Oversee the professional growth and development of the Architectural staff, including conducting monthly one-on-one meetings and assigning longer-term projects.
• Manage team technical skill sets and capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and set annual development goals.
• Assist Project Managers with proposals, focusing on scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project execution.
• Complete quarterly reports on hiring, efficiency, turnover, project performance, and quality.
• Develop strong strategic alliances with sub-consultants to enhance service offerings.
• Actively participate in industry events, including speaking at regional conferences and writing technical articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited or NCARB certified institution.
• Proven experience managing a technical team within a collaborative, matrixed environment.
• Registered Architect or PE licensed is preferred.
• Knowledge of coordinating engineering and architecture of complex building projects.
• Experience in team leadership with documented success in project execution.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Practical familiarity with ICC building codes and ASCE standards.
• LEED and Green Globes experience and credentials.
