TL;DR

Director, Global Commercial Strategy & Deal Desk (SaaS): Owning the end-to-end commercial execution layer of the revenue engine with an accent on deal structuring, pricing strategy, and licensing governance. Focus on transforming the commercial desk from a reactive support function into a proactive strategic lever for growth and margin protection.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: 180,000 – 224,250 USD annually

What you will do

  • Establish a strategic commercial desk operating model centered on value-based selling and consistent deal review standards.
  • Define and enforce global pricing guardrails, discount thresholds, and approval frameworks.
  • Standardize licensing practices and governance to eliminate ad hoc licensing behaviors.
  • Optimize deal velocity and forecast accuracy by improving deal structuring and removing friction in CPQ/SFDC workflows.
  • Act as the central coordination point between Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to align on commercial policies.
  • Analyze systemic friction points and feed commercial insights back into GTM strategy and product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Pricing, or Commercial Operations.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a people leadership role.
  • Experience in SaaS / subscription-based business models.
  • Strong understanding of CPQ systems and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization.
  • Must be based in the United States.
