Tier 2 Help Desk Technician (IT Support): Providing advanced technical support and escalation for a primarily macOS environment with an accent on endpoint management, identity and access workflows, and SaaS platform administration. Focus on troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues, maintaining endpoint compliance via MDM, and mentoring Tier 1 staff to scale IT operations.
Location: Hybrid in Foster City, CA (must be onsite at least 3-4 days per week)
Salary: $113,000 – $148,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Provide advanced onsite and remote technical support for macOS endpoints as a Tier 2 escalation point.
- Resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues for laptops and mobile devices.
- Administer productivity platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and other SaaS applications.
- Manage device provisioning, enrollment, and policy enforcement using MDM platforms like Kandji.
- Support IAM workflows, including MFA, SSO, and account lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to resolve technical incidents and maintain endpoint compliance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT support or endpoint administration in a macOS-focused environment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting Apple macOS systems and hardware.
- Experience with Google Workspace administration and MDM solutions (Kandji, JumpCloud, Intune).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Foster City, CA.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 40 lbs.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows in enterprise environments.
- Background working in a high-growth SaaS company.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 operational requirements.
- Certifications like CompTIA Network+ or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP).
