TL;DR

What you will do

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for engineering, software, manufacturing, and operations roles.
  • Source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and niche boards.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and build strategic hiring plans.
  • Travel 5-40% annually to support on-site hiring, community engagement, and early career initiatives.
  • Manage applicant flow and track key hiring metrics through the ATS.
  • Collaborate with HR and marketing on employer branding campaigns focused on veterans and alumni.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or robotics.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (no sponsorship allowed).
  • Strong track record of filling hard-to-source technical roles.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5-40% annually.

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting within regulated industries (DoD, drone tech).
  • Familiarity with government contracting and ITAR compliance.
  • Knowledge of security clearance basics.
  • Understanding of Agile or fast-paced product development teams.
